Solmatic machine presentations

Client: Solmatic
Date: 2023 – Currently
Scope of work: Video materials
Solmatic is one of the largest manufacturers of machinery for the aerosol industry in Europe. The company delivers complete solutions—from standalone machines to complex, multi-module production lines for international clients.

As part of our collaboration with Solmatic, we regularly produce machine presentations that form a key element of the marketing strategy developed together with the client. These materials are created as video content, supporting the brand’s communication across social channels—primarily LinkedIn. They are also published in a continuously expanding online machine catalog.

Solmatic’s communication strategy, beyond regular publishing, also includes work on the positioning of products developed in previous years. This is achieved primarily through updating catalog content, creating new materials from the client’s archival footage, and producing 3D animations based on CAD models of individual machines.

Solmatic machine presentations are part of a broader marketing strategy we developed for the client

Solmatic places a strong emphasis on build quality, simplicity of design, and ease of use—qualities that have enabled the company to implement over 200 installations in nearly 40 countries worldwide. The video materials we produce are created in two ways. Some are filmed from scratch at the production facility in Jaworzno—particularly in the case of new solutions, prototypes, and custom projects. Others are based on archival footage provided by the client, recorded in previous years.

Working with existing assets often comes with challenges. Archival materials do not always meet current quality standards and are sometimes incomplete. In such cases, editing and the use of motion design play a key role—animated graphic elements that give the videos a modern, cohesive, and visually engaging character.
Video materials presenting Solmatic’s machines and production lines are created in two ways. Some are filmed from scratch at the client’s facility in Jaworzno, particularly in the case of new solutions and complex, prototype projects. Others are developed based on the client’s archival footage produced in previous years. Working with provided assets often presents significant challenges. They are not always ideal, and in some cases, the available materials are insufficient to create high-quality content. In such situations, editing and motion design become essential – animated graphic elements that significantly enhance the visual impact of the final material.

Each Solmatic machine requires an individual approach when capturing video content.

Even the most critical operations often rely on seemingly small components, like filling, carbonation, or clamping heads. Since these elements are frequently enclosed, capturing their function in a clear and visually appealing way can be tricky. That’s why, in our work with Solmatic, we focus on every detail – finding the perfect angles, experimenting with camera settings, and, when needed, using long-focus lenses (up to 200 mm) to reach areas that are otherwise hard to access.
Filming the details also requires proper preparation of the machines themselves.

We make sure work areas are organized, stainless surfaces are spotless, and streaks or reflections on protective covers are minimized. With Solmatic equipment, this is rarely an issue – the company’s machines are designed with meticulous attention to detail and high-quality finishes, which makes working on set significantly easier.
